With Love & Respect I Honor You
On July 12th, 2009, Mike Levan was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was a very good friend and I loved him. His friendship has profoundly touched my life in many ways - his greatests gifts to me being that he gave me the ability to trust and believe again among the many - his friendship was greatly appreciated and reciprocated by myself.
I have created this memorial to honor the person you were Mike and the integrity with which you lived your life. I miss you tremendously and you will forever be in my heart.

Dear Mike, There is hardly a day that goes by in which I do not think of you. We knew each other most of our lives yet, because of how we were raised were never given the opportunity to get to know each other as deeply as many brothers do. I still linger, at times, in denial that you are really gone. I don't want to accept it, believe it or even consider it. Going to mom's and realizing you are not going to be home hurts so badly.
